BeHIND THE LENSE

In 2016, October Creative began with one client and a DSLR camera, filming recipe videos in our “studio” (it was our bedroom). Over the years our client list expanded, new hires joined us, we made a few gear and studio upgrades, and moved cities. October Creative is an Austin-based studio with a team of food-focused folks who love to capture the art of a recipe.

    Laura is the OG October Creative cinematographer. She is a self-taught creative who takes pride in capturing a client’s brand in video format. Her free time is spent songwriting and creating music with Benjamin, her husband.

    OWNER + COLORIST

    Ben holds down the fort at OC. When he’s not color editing videos, he is our one-man finance and human resources department. If we haven’t heard from him in a few hours, we know he is probably on a 60-mile bike ride.
